Tore Enger
Chief Executive Officer
Tore, born in 1963, founded TECO Group in 1994. Tore is a true entrepreneur and has initiated a large number of products and services to the Maritime Industry throughout the last 25 years. He has an extensive network in the industry and is thus crucial for TECO 2030’s access to shipowners. Tore was also the Chairman and major shareholder of Scanship Holding ASA (now Vow ASA), which is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, for approx. 10 years (2008 – 2017).
Pål Christian holds a Master of Finance and Accounting from The Flinders University of South Australia. He has previously worked for TECO Group in various projects from 2006 to 2010 in addition to, amongst others, Økokrim (Special Investigator) and AS Naturbetong (CFO), before joining TECO in October 2018.
Bettina is an Austrian citizen who has lived in the US since 2000. She holds a Degree in Hotel Management from Austria and has been working in the hospitality industry in Europe and the US until 2004, when she started working in the Cruise Industry. In 2007, Bettina entered the position as Managing Director for Scanship Americas, a position she held for 11 years until she joined TECO as CEO of TECO 2030 Inc. in Miami in 2018.
Tor-Erik holds a Bachelor in Nautical Studies from Vestfold University College, Arctic Specialization University of Norway (UIT) and The University Centre Svalbard (UNIS). He worked as Project Engineer and Project Development Manager in Scanship AS with focus on wastehandling and water purification. Tor-Erik joined TECO in March 2018 and has been an important part of the development team.
Mr. Thapa holds a Master of Science in Energy and Environmental Engineering. Thapa has held a profession within Research and Development for more than 10 years of invaluable experience of successfully overseeing projects from conception to completion. Mr. Thapa has been in charge of R&D in a family business turning it into a multinational 350 employee company. Thapa has a proven ability to improve efficiency by finding solutions to complex problems at tight schedules in the field of process and environmental technology, and manage the research team members. Thapa has developed multiple new product lines and successfully been awarded five patents. Thapa joined TECO in October 2020.
Mr. Eiken is educated Naval Architect from NTNU Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Arild has over the past four years been instrumental in the development of hydrogen and fuel cell systems for maritime and offshore applications. Arild has 21 years of experience within the maritime and offshore oil and gas industries and has held various leading technical and management positions. Arild joined TECO in December 2020.
Mr. Schafroth holds a bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering. He has been in the marine scrubber industry since early 2014 with both technical and commercial roles in Wartsila and Pacific Green Marine Technologies. With his previous roles and experiences, he fits very well into our TECO Future Funnel team.
Mr. D’Souza has several years of experience in the exhaust gas cleaning system industry, after working 7 years with Yara Marine Technologies in Oslo. He was a part of the R&D team from an early stage developing the Inline type of scrubber, and later being responsible for sales in the South East & Far East Asia. With his previous technical and commercial positions he is a solid contribution to TECO’s strategy on how to develop and commercialize our Future Funnel even further. Saneel joined TECO in April 2020.
Operations Manager – TECO Future Funnel
Mr. Kristiansen, born 1974, a general manager with demonstraded history of working in the maritime industry, amongst others, 6.5 years as head of Wartsila service center in Singapore in charge of Wartsila environmental products. Kristiansen holds a degree in refrigeration engineering. Kristiansen has a variety of skills which include sales, aftersales, management and international shipping with a strong trackrecord within the marine industry, marine electro, refigeration engineer from Royal Carribean Cruises, combustion engineering and environmental industry. Kristiansen joined TECO in 2019.
The Board of Directors has the overall responsibility for the management of TECO 2030. This includes a responsibility to supervise and exercise control of the company’s activities. The term of office for members of the Board of Directors is two years.
