Who we are

TECO 2030 is an innovative engineering and equipment providing company aiming to significantly increase the use of renewable energy and reduce the environmental footprint of the shipping industry. It is part of the TECO Group, which has served major maritime customers since 1994. Headquartered at Lysaker outside Oslo, Norway, the group has about 135 land-based employees at 12 locations worldwide, in addition to about 300 workers out on projects.

TECO 2030 is striving in a fast-paced environment to help clients operate within the maritime rules and regulations at present and to meet new standards in the future. We are aiming to become a leading provider of green marine technology through developing and delivering solutions for a cleaner global environment. The Group consists of personnel and partners with strong R&D capabilities and maritime experience. TECO 2030 is developing the TECO 2030 Marine Fuel Cell and is establishing a Fuel Cell Innovation Centre as well as a Fuel Cell Gigafactory in Northern Norway. The Innovation Center will become Europe’s first Giga production facility of hydrogen PEM fuel cell stacks and modules in Narvik, Norway. The production capacity will be built up through 2023 and early 2024, targeting an output capacity of 120 MW of fuel cells in 2024, 400 MW in 2025 and 1.6 GW in 2030.
